Introduction

NOIR ROW ART SPACE is a contemporary art space in Udon Thani, a province in northeastern Thailand. Founded in late 2017 by two artists, Panachai Chaijirarat and Punyisa Sinraparatsamee, they share a vision to create and promote contemporary art and creative practices. Their mission also includes fostering interest in local history, culture, and knowledge—both within Udon Thani and its surrounding areas—using contemporary art as a medium of engagement. The initiative aims to build networks and collaborations ranging from the local to the international level.

The space operates as a multidisciplinary hub, featuring exhibitions and facilities for workshops, seminars, and film screenings. It is dedicated to developing their practice of collecting objects for its own archive, as well as producing site-specific projects. Notable projects include PARALLEL: The Ramasun Station Art Trail (Ramasun Station, Udon Thani, 2018) and PARALLEL 2: Interzone (Udon Thani, 2025).
