Lalita Singkhampuk
Introduction
Lalita Singkhampuk (b. Chiang Rai, Thailand) Lalita is an artist whose practice explores irregularities within social, individual, and spatial contexts, drawing on the history, folklore, and shifting landscapes of her native Chiang Rai, utilizing installation, moving image, and performance.
Recent projects include 8th Early Years Project, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (2024); Point of No Concern: Return to the Rhizomatic State, ‘MAIIAM Pavilion’ Thailand Biennale, Chiang Rai (2023) and the BRAND NEW Art Project, Bangkok University Gallery (2019).
Lalita currently lives and works in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
