Introduction

Thammapop Prasertrungruang (b. Khon Kaen) is a visual artist, graphic designer, and co-founder and space manager of ‘Pratudang Space’ in Khon Kaen, Thailand. His practice explores the intersections of memory, politics, archives, and local histories through installation, sound, graphic design, and participatory projects. He is particularly interested in how images, objects, and everyday spaces contribute to shaping and questioning collective memory.

As the co-founder and space manager of ‘Pratudang Space’, he works to support emerging contemporary artists while fostering dialogue between art and local communities. The space operates as a platform for exhibitions, workshops, publications, and collaborative projects that encourage experimentation, conversation, and greater accessibility to contemporary art within regional contexts.

Alongside his artistic practice, he works in exhibition design, visual identity design, and site-specific art. His recent projects focus on the relationship between archives and public memory. He is currently undertaking an internship in contemporary art in MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum in Chiang Mai while continuing to develop projects that connect contemporary artistic practice with regional contexts and local communities.
