Introduction

Pakorn Rujiravilai is a Songkhla-born graphic designer, community catalyst, and placemaker in the Songkhla Old Town community. After completing a Master’s in Communication Design at Pratt Institute, New York, he returned to his hometown to continue his family’s business. In 2012, he founded a.e.y.space, an independent art space dedicated to diverse art forms and exhibitions. He has worked closely with the Creative Economy Agency (CEA) on several community-focused projects, including "Portrait of Songkhla" (2020) and "Made in Songkhla" (2021). In 2023, he took part in the inaugural Pakk Taii Design Week, co-organizing the first-ever design week in Southern Thailand. Pakorn also initiated "Singorama" (2022), a film screening event that has evolved into this year's Singorama Art Fest. He remains passionate about preserving the multicultural identity and historic charm of Songkhla through creative collaboration.
