Introduction

Franco Rodolfo Brobio is a cultural worker, curator, and writer, based in Quezon City, Philippines. His practice has largely been with the Concerned Artists of the Philippines (CAP), an organization of progressive artists that fights for freedom of expression, exploring collective work as a framework for artistic production and art as a vehicle for political action.

In 2024, he joined the Upskilling on Performance and Visual Arts Curation Workshop organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines. In 2025, he joined the Curatorial Conversations incubator organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design, and the UP Vargas Museum's photography art writing workshop. In 2026, he participated in Para Site's Workshops for Arts Professionals in Hong Kong. He is also exploring games as a discursive tool and artistic medium, having worked with artist Lyra Garcellano as a designer for her game Stakeholding: Chapter One.

Franco currently lives and works in Quezon City, Philippines.
