Patcharapa Inchang
Introduction
Patcharapa Inchang (b. Chiang Mai) is a Thai contemporary artist whose practice engages deeply with landscape and figuration. Through a contemplative lens, her work explores the fragility of both personal and collective memory, reflecting on the lingering traces of those who are no longer present. Within her paintings, domestic fragments often emerge as silent witnesses, subtly revealing the complex emotional and political undercurrents embedded in everyday life.
Patcharapa holds a BA from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and her work has been exhibited both across Thailand and internationally. In 2022, her photobook Touch Me was published by 89books (Palermo, Italy). She was selected for the Fellowship Program at apexart, New York City, in 2024, and most recently presented her exhibition Elsewhere Within: Tangled Threads of Migration at Paratissima (Moncalieri, Italy) in 2025. Her work is held in the permanent collection of the MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum in Thailand.
